In keeping with Uttaranchal University's acknowledged commitment to promoting academic excellence and attracting the brightest students, the University offers an array of merit scholarships and need-based financial support.

MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS

The Uttaranchal University encourages scholarly aptitude in students. In order to recognize their academic excellence, merit scholarships are awarded to students who perform extremely well in their qualifying examinations.

UTTARAKHAND STATE DOMICILE SCHOLARSHIP

Uttaranchal University offers a 26% tuition fee scholarship to Uttarakhand domicile students, with 40% seats reserved across all programs. To claim the scholarship, students must present an original Uttarakhand Domicile Certificate during admission/counselling.

HILL STATE DOMICILE SCHOLARSHIP

Uttaranchal University offers a 26% tuition fee scholarship to domiciled students from Hill States of India, including J&K, Ladakh, Sikkim, Northeast States, Himachal Pradesh and West Bengal's Darjeeling & Kalimpong districts.

DEFENCE PERSONNEL SCHOLARSHIP

Uttaranchal University offers a 5% scholarship on net tuition fees for children of defence and paramilitary personnel viz ITBP, CRPF, etc. A valid parental service certificate (original) is required at the time admission/counselling.
