ACCOMODATION &
HOSTELS
Uttaranchal University offers well-equipped on-campus hostels with attached Mess for a diverse student community. Separate hostels for boys and girls provide furnished single to four-bed rooms. Facilities include 24×7 electricity, Wi-Fi, security, modern plumbing, and spacious lawns for recreation. Common rooms have HD TVs, indoor games, newspapers, and laundry services. A dedicated maintenance team ensures cleanliness and upkeep.

INSURANCE
The functioning hospital at Uttaranchal University, known as Uttaranchal Hospital and Diagnostic Centre, is dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of students and staff. The hospital provides extensive range of services in both Allopathy and Ayurveda, such as General Medicine, OPD, X-Ray, Pathology, Surgery, ENT Care, Paediatrics, ICU, Emergency Ward, Panchkarma and other essential amenities. The facility takes a holistic approach to healthcare, addressing diverse medical needs and enhancing campus health and safety.
STUDENT MEDICAL INSURANCE COVERAGE
Every student is insured for a medical claim (hospitalization) of Rs. 75,000/- and medical claim (daycare) of Rs. 10,000/- subject to the terms and conditions of the policy.
HOSPITALISATION CLAIM & REIMBURSEMENT
The hospitalization claims of students within the scope of policy coverage are reimbursed. Reimbursement facility is also available if the treatment is taken in non empanelled hospitals.
24/7 NATIONWIDE INSURANCE COVERAGE
Insurance cover operates 24 hours, even out of the campus and at all places in India.
ACCIDENTAL INSURANCE
Nominated parents are covered under personal accident insurance of ₹2,50,000 (as per policy terms). In case of accidental death or permanent disability, the amount is released to the student to ensure financial support for completing their education at the University.
