Student Mentoring
UU has formulated a system of student support and mentoring in a structured manner. The student support and mentoring are offered to the students right from admission till the completion of their program of study.

The University empathizes with various situations related to financial support, guidance & counseling, grievance redressal, menace of ragging, medical requirement and the like.
- 26% of Tuition Fee is offered as scholarship to Uttarakhand Domicile Candidates.
- Scholarships as per government norms are provided to students of SC/ST category and other communities.
- A scholarship of 10% of Tuition Fee is provided to students who after successful completion of a program from the University take admission in another program offered by the University.
One teacher-guardian is appointed for a fixed number of students. These mentors assist students both in their moments of personal and academic adversity. The mentors are friends, philosophers and guides for the students. The students are given individual attention to help them overcome their learning difficulties. The University provides a learning environment where academic excellence is emphasized. We encourage our students to adopt critical curiosity towards the world around them in all aspects. Every possible support is made available to the students to learn and live in a conducive environment.
