Your one –stop store for all of your information needs. The Knowledge Resource Centre (KRC) Uttaranchal University, offers a balanced combination of print and digital collections. Keeping in pace with the above spirit and Uttaranchal University’s goal to “promote quality education, the spacious, Central Library offers a platform for research, innovation and development.
ABOUT US
The resources are provided with the most recent editions of databases, books, journals, periodicals, e-journals, and publications from well-known national and international publishers. Online and digital learning resources, accessible 24/7, are the library's main focus. The library is fully automated with the help of the ERP – LIBCYB – Integrated Library Management System.
The KRC has a rich collection of more than 168,366 volumes with 14,477 unique titles related to Engineering, Management, CSE, Applied and Life Sciences, Law, Pharmacy, Nursing, Hotel & Hospitality Management, Agriculture, Journalism & Mass Media, and Health Science. It also offers access to 142,694 e-books and 9,955 online journals across all libraries located in different academic blocks on campus.
Online databases like JSTOR, JSTOR SADA, IEEE, Sage, EBSCO BSE, SCC Online, Lexis Nexis Advance India, Hein Online, EPWRF, and Indianjournal.com—along with memberships in digital consortia such as DELNET, National Digital Library of India, Shodh Ganga, e-Shodh Sindhu, Shodh Shuddhi, British Council Library, and professional bodies—offer a truly rewarding infrastructure and experience for students and the academic community.
